1)How does the treatment programme of the Singapore Prison Service help sex offenders?
2)Do you think that sex offenders should be given a second chance in the society? State your reasons.
Answers:
1)It helps them to sort through their thinking so that they do not repeat their mistake. The only known offender which the programme has failed to work is Bala Kuppusamy.
2)Yes. Everyone should be given one more chance. They might turn over a new leaf. The world will have no justice if we only give each person one chance. Just because they did a bad mistake, it does not mean that they will repeat it. For those people who repeat it, they should not get a second chance.
